Wild Atlantic Way - South - 7 Day tour, Ireland

The Wild Atlantic Way South starts in Kenmare and ends in Galway. We will bring you on a voyage of Discovery and adventure as you explore the wild Atlantic way, mix with the locals and have a truly cultural experience. Straight away you get to experience the unusual landscape of the Burren and take in the fantastic Cliffs of Moher from a viewpoint not experienced by many. As you travel along this varied and thrilling landscape you will have a multitude of experiences including cycling some of the most scenic areas horse treking in the mountains and swiming with our own special dolphin.

Our tour doesn't neglect the historic importance of the Wild Atlantic Way and you will visit many areas of historical significance including Megalythic tombs, Abbeys, and Castles. We will also visit the spectacular Skellig Michael an ancient monastic settlement that will blow you away.

Our guides are highly trained and are knowledgeable in many areas including history, geography, folklore and Irish culture. They will also emerse you in the local community and make your trip exciting and fun. We work closely with local adventure providers and guesthouses so we can guarantee a warm welcome and a truely unique experience.

Day 1 : Travel from Dublin to Kerry visiting the Rock of Cashel on route. Stay Kenmare.

Day 2 : Scenic drive around the Beara peninsula. Cycle around Bare island, ferry to mainland. stay Kenmare.

Day 3 : Travel the ring of Kerry to Portmagee, get a boat to Skellig Michael unesco site (weather permitting ) or boat ride and hike through Kilarney national park and the Gap of Dunloe. Stay Dingle.

Day 4 : Swim with Fungi the Dolphin, Cycle Slea head or mountain trek on horseback with views of the Dingle peninsula. Visit Dingle distillery. Stay Dingle

Day 5 : Coasteering in Kilkea, beach walk stay in Lahinch.

Day 6 : Surfing in Lahinch, Clifftop hike along the cliffs of Moher. Traditional music night in Doolin village. Stay in Lahinch.

Day 7 : We do a hike in the Burren visiting Poulnabrone Dolmen and Corcomroe Abbey, Kayak along the base of the cliffs of Moher.
