Everest Base Camp Trekking begins with Kathmandu, a city alive and full of energy, and takes you through the Everest region before ending it again in Kathmandu. Starting with the short and scenic flight to Tenzing-Hillary Airport in Lukla, you trek through the trail marked with diversity. Trekking through unique villages including Nurning, Phakding, Benkar, Monjo, Jorsale and others, several monasteries, chortens and prayer wheels, across suspension bridges clad with prayer flags, wildlife and flora and fauna of Sagarmatha National Park, and with the company of torrential Dudh Koshi River (the Milky River) you reach the buzzing Namche Bazaar. A Himalayan town with interesting shops and fabulous food, stunning views and interesting culture, Namche Bazaar is also a traditional trading hub that paves your way further up to the ancient monasteries in Tengboche and Dingboche. After sufficient acclimatization at lower altitude, you head for the beautiful Gorak Shep and the iconic Kala Patthar for surreal view of the Himalayas. Trekking Planner Pvt. Ltd. is a registered Company under the laws of Nepal. We accept your bookings under the following terms and conditions. These Terms and Conditions, as may be amended from time to time, apply to all our services made available online. By accessing, browsing and using our website you acknowledge and agree to have read, understood and agreed to the Terms and Conditions set out below. We therefore encourage you to read it carefully. Booking Booking is an arrangement you make to have a specific trip at a particular time in the future. By booking a trip through Trekking Planner Pvt. Ltd., you enter into a direct (legally binding) contractual relationship with us. Remember a booking is definitely accepted from the date when the Company sends a confirmation invoice or email to you. It is at this point that a contract between the Company and the Client comes into existence. Payment Policy Note- All the trip prices quoted in this site is in the form of US dollars. All payments can be made in Foreign Exchange that is exchangeable by Nepal Government. 15% of full payment should be made in advance. Cancellation Refund Policy Remember that a written notification of your cancellation must be sent to us as soon as you decide to cancel a tour booked by you. The cancellation notice must be clearly given and should be valid with approval of the company. Keep in mind that if cancelled 1 week before the tour only 25% of the total amount will be refunded and if cancelled within a week then 40% of the total amount will easily refunded to you. But if you decide to cancel the tour/trip in less than a day then you have to be aware that there will be no refund provided to you by the company. And if by vice versa Trekking Planner Pvt. Ltd. decides or gets forced to cancel your booked trip for any reason(s), then be assured that an alternative tour will be offered to you by us. And if the offered trip will not be fitting for you then we reserve the right to cancel the trip to make a full refund of the amount that you paid. However, we cannot be held liable for any damages and claims. Itinerary alteration The itinerary is subject to change at the discretion of the tour leader, for safety reasons. The tour leader may suggest alternative itinerary or and activities for those given in the program for the group to choose. Where ferry timetables are applicable, the schedule may change due to the weather conditions and/or to last minute changes from the ferry company. Passport and Visas All clients must possess a Passport with at least 6 months validity from return date. Along with Passports you must obtain Nepalese Visa from a Nepalese embassy, consulates or diplomatic agencies in your country or in the region where your country is or upon arrival in Kathmandu Airport. Nepalese visa costs are incurred by clients. All necessary documents (including visas, permits, insurances, etc.) must be presented to corresponding authorities and to us prior to your tour. Privacy The documents that you provide for the trip will be safely kept by Trekking Planner Pvt. Ltd.. We will ask for some important and necessary documents from you for legal use and to fulfill the government laws only so be assure that we will not disclose any of your documents for any other purposes. Your documents will be safe with us as your privacy matters to us as well. Medical conditions and special requirements The clients have to notify in writing about current physical conditions at the time of booking with the factual information of any medical condition, any other mental and physically challenged conditions which may affect fitness in travelling. Prior failure to inform to the company at the time of booking indicates the clients being refused to travel. Generally, failure to disclose such fact condition at the time of booking is similar to give the right to the company in charging 100% cancellation fees to the clients. In addition to considering about the trip, clients may be unable to travel due to the factors affecting such as age, mobility, pregnancy or physical or mental conditions. For such a case, we suggest you to check the trip as comfortable as prior to booking. The company is not entitled to provide any special facilities unless it has agreed to do so in writing. The company will always make best to suit clients special requests including dietary, but such requests do not form part of the contract and therefore the company is not liable for not providing these requests. Medical facilities may differ from country to country thus company makes no representations and provide no warranties in relation to the standard of such treatment. Children A legal guardian must accompany all travelers under the age of sixteen. Do take note that no unaccompanied minors under 16 years of age are accepted. And in the case of minors all personal gears accompanied by them are the sole responsibility of their respectable guardian. Insurance Trekking Planner Pvt. Ltd. puts very hard effort to ensure the safety of all our clients. But we also strongly recommend our clients to purchase a comprehensive travel/medical insurance package covering incidents, natural calamity/disaster, helicopter evacuation, personal accidents, trip cancellation, etc. prior to the commencement of your tour. Do remember that the Personal Travel Insurance is not included in our tour price. Risk & Liabilities Trekking Planner Pvt. Ltd. always strives to make each and every client’s experience unforgettable, pleasant and problem-free. However, Trekking Planner Pvt. Ltd. will not be responsible for any unusual cases like accident, damages, loss, delay, flight delay and cancellation and any other natural disaster. Any additional cost incurred due to such events not in our control is the sole responsibility and charge of our clients. Trekking Planner Pvt. Ltd. reserves the right to modify any arrangements required by and made on behalf of clients. Uncertain and inherent circumstances lead to change the trip. Therefore, Trekking Planner Pvt. Ltd. shall not be responsible for any changes in the itinerary because of unavoidable circumstances like government restriction, landslide, road blockage, and political strike, cancellation of flight, delay, sickness or accident. Additional cost incurred during this time should be borne by the clients themselves on the spots. Publicity Trekking Planner Pvt. Ltd. uses the images taken by clients during the trip without prior notice, recourse and compensation. These images have been used for publicity and promotion purpose through different medium. You should agree upon this for permission. Complaints and issues Complaints about tours must be first known by a leader or a guide in order to take right actions necessary to solve the issue. Trekking Planner Pvt. Ltd. will always be there in your touch even in the tour and trekking so that we can solve your problem as soon as possible. And after every tour you are free to comment us whether that can be negative or positive so that you can give us any feedback or suggestion relating to the trip.
